As part of our whole school approach to reading, and to promote a love of reading, Grade 5/6 students were given the opportunity to try out for the role of Reading Ambassadors at Longford.  Some of the roles of Reading Ambassador include: encouraging a love of reading throughout the school; reading stories in the library during lunchtime; reading to students in younger grades including LiL groups; assisting teachers with special events, including Book Week and reviewing and sharing books in assembly.

Congratulations to Katie, Haile, Mae, Imogen B, Zane, Mark, Imogen Q, Aiden and Charlotte on being selected as our Reading Ambassadors for the remainder of the year.
