Leading up to Book Week, children were read the shortlisted books of the year for Picture Book and Early Childhood categories in their library lessons.  They then voted for their favourite book.  The books with the most votes from each category had one name drawn to win a prize.

Spiro had 38 votes and A Leaf Called Greaf had 33 votes.
