As part of our phonics program the Prep students have been introduced to characters from a story called Milo's Birthday Surprise. In the story Milo (the main character) invites all his friends to his birthday party. Each character corresponds to the sounds of the letters such as Sally the Snake for the letter s. Having met all of Milo’s friends and learning the first 26 sounds Mrs Crawford organised a surprise party for Milo and the Preps were all invited! With 26 activities and 26 types of food to eat (A-Z) we had a busy morning and our tummies were full.
