On Friday, seventeen grade 5/6 students attended the Northern Midlands Hockey Gala Day at St Leonards along with eight other schools. Students participated in skill-building activities and games before we were matched against Cressy in a head-to-head match. Longford just came out on top at 1-0, with all students showing great skills and determination. If students enjoyed the day, or if any other grade 5/6 students are interested in playing Hockey, they may want to consider hockey in the Country Gold sports day in term 3.
