You may have heard the exciting news that a new Child and Family Learning Centre (CFLC) is coming to Longford.

CFLCs are friendly, welcoming places offering advice on health and family matters, education and training as well as wellbeing services from pregnancy to age 5.

Extensive community and stakeholder consultation, including the establishment of a Local Enabling Group, will be undertaken to inform the design of the new Longford CFLC and the services it will provide to ensure it is tailor-made to serve local families.

The first phase of community and stakeholder consultation for the new Longford CFLC will commence later this year, once the preferred site is confirmed, and construction is expected to commence in 2027.
