Can you tell us a little bit about the book?
An invitation to play from a monster mistakenly invites a little boy and the story tells of the fears and the fun that they had when they met. The story was told from the view of each character.
Why is it your favourite?
I like that he is an Australian author and that he does his own illustrations and I also like that he does black and white sketches with a little bit of colour in each picture. Also Nick Bland loves to write rhyming books.
Who would you recommend this book to?
I would recommend it to all ages, even my little grandchildren love it!
