Book Title: The 117-Storey Treehouse
Summary:
Andy and Terry (the main people in the story) built another 13 stories to their treehouse. Now there is a ginormous 117 stories! Another person that is in the story a lot is Jill, (she loves animals), is always helping out with everything.
At the start of the story Andy and Terry had a fight. Terry wanted to narrate the story as well as Andy. Then their publisher called Mr Big Nose, (he was really bossy), even got into the fight. He said that Terry can narrate if he really wanted to.
Terry ended up getting to narrate. I am not going to spoil the smaller story that Terry narrated. I thought Terry should just stick with drawing, because he really is better at it. He was still ok at narrating. He was better at the end.
Speaking of endings this is something I will say about Terry’s small story. Terry had no clue of what he should do as his ending. Then Andy said that he should say it was all a dream. Terry thought it was a great idea too. But they ended up getting themselves in trouble. They ended up getting in trouble from the story police. They found out that when the story police were shouting “WE HAVE YOUR TREE SURROUNDED.” Then Andy, Terry, and Jill ran from the story police. There was a lot of running!
My thoughts:
I think 117-Storey Treehouse is a great book, it has lots of funny parts in it. As well as the funny words there is some funny drawings. I think this book should be for all ages because it can help you with reading. You don’t even have to read all of the book because the drawings have a story in themselves.
