Dear Families
I hope that you enjoyed some quality family time over the long weekend. During the student free day, teachers at Longford PS engaged in valuable professional learning around our school priorities in Wellbeing, Attendance and Quality Teaching. Teachers at our school are continually improving their practice and engaging in professional learning in order to provide high quality learning experiences for our students. In the coming weeks, teachers will be applying this new learning within their classes.
As mentioned above one of our school focus areas, is attendance. Every day at school matters. It is an opportunity for children to connect with their friends and teachers, as well as progress their learning. Check out this video around attendance. https://anything.tas.gov.au/schools
